What Is CCLE 

In the outline of the National Education Policy, it has been recommended that in order to update the curriculum, the prevailing examination system, which is mostly based on rote learning, should be changed and implemented on the basis of reasoning and creative abilities.

 Continuous and Comprehensive Learning and Evaluation system is already implemented in CBSE curriculum schools and schools of classes 1 to 8 in Madhya Pradesh.

 In view of the large number of suicides of students due to examination pressure in the year 2016, the recommendations of the committee constituted by the Legislative Assembly to solve this problem include conducting Bal Sabha based continuous and comprehensive learning and evaluation activities from classes 9 to 12 and The state decided to give 20 percent marks for it.


Why is the CCLE program needed?


There is a need for CCLE program to transform the existing education system to meet the needs of knowledge based economy in the changing global scenario.


 There is a need for CCLE program under the new education policy to enhance the quality of education, promote innovation and research.


 To ensure global reach of the Indian education system, there is a need for CCLE programs to adopt global standards of education.


 There is a need for a timely development based CCLE program to develop 21st century skills in students and prepare them for Program for International Assessment of Skills (PISA) etc.
